National Press Building is a 14-story-tall office building located at 529 14th Street Northwest, just two blocks from the White House in downtown Washington, DC. The office building encompasses 560,000 square feet of leasable office space and is on the prime corner of 14th and F Street surrounded by a wide array of restaurants, bars, cafes, hotels, retailers, entertainment venues, and arts & culture sites.

Built in 1926, the building has served as the long term home of the National Press Club. To appeal to a diverse range of office tenants, the building underwent substantial renovations in 1965, 1982, 2005, and 2018.

Local amenities for the National Press Building’s tenants include a wide variety of highly-rated restaurants, including The Hamilton, Old Ebbitt Grill, Ocean Prime, District Taco, Dolcezza Gelato & Coffee, and Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab. The building also has a new bike room and a new 4,500 SF fitness center with a TRX Training Zone, 12 pieces of cardiovascular equipment, 8 pieces of strength training equipment, a multipurpose fitness studio, and men’s and women’s shower facilities with keyless lockers for exclusive tenant use.   Lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and the central core atrium are newly renovated.  Tenants are also provided with facilities like 24/7 HVAC, 24/7 security, electronic card access system, digital directories, live transit screens, 8 passenger elevators, and 2 service elevators.

This highly commutable office building is just one block away from the Metro Center Station transit hub servicing the Blue, Orange, Red, and Silver Metro lines.  Five Capital Bikeshare Stations are within five blocks of the property.  Amtrak’s Union Station is an 11 minute drive or short Metro ride away.
